A little bit about me…
Hi! My name is Sydnee Sisk. I’m a 21-year-old dancer, actor, and singer who recently relocated to NYC, originally from a small town in Kansas!
My passion for theatre began with dance. I grew up taking classes and quickly found that the studio was more than a hobby, it became my second home. From there, I had the privilege of studying voice, which eventually led me to the world of musical theatre. After being heavily involved in choir, theatre, and dance throughout high school, I took a chance to continue expanding my training at the collegiate level.
Over the past three years, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to sharpen my craft, grow as a storyteller, and learn what it means to show up fully as a dedicated artist at The Conservatory for the Performing Arts at Stephens College in Columbia, MO. During that time, I was fortunate to train under and collaborate with truly inspiring teachers and mentors who shaped the performer I am today.
Some of my favorite recent credits include Freaky Friday, directed by Josh Walden at Okoboji Summer Theatre, and Snow White and Me, a new musical by Pippa Cleary, Phil LaZebnik, and Ronald Krushak (an original cast album will be released soon, so stay tuned!)
I believe in staying true to who you are, consistency, and leading every project with heart, curiosity, and gratitude. I’m passionate about telling honest stories, building meaningful creative relationships, and continuing to grow in every room I walk into.
Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me. I’m thrilled to be here, and even more excited for what’s ahead!
